Easter.

Well, the easter season is here, and again the deep religious meaning of it has gone and past. (thnx hallmark) But, thats besides my point of this post.

I have a question, to who ever is still in this discussion and hasnt decided that they werent getting their way and left. no offence to anyone.

Is easter a positive or negative holiday? I mean, jesus was born AND reborn in this time, so what should we say to our families when we see them? Happy easter? or just hello, thank you for the food.

PS - You don't have to eat turkey or ham on easter to celebrate the holiday.

Jesus was born on Easter? I'm not sure but you say he was born and reborn? That is not correct. Easter is the celebration of Jesus resurrection.

I read it I just don't want to get sucked up into arguing about who's right and wrong. Christians should be working together to reach out to the lost and not arguing with each other about their opinions. It doesn't really do any good cause in the end everyone has their own opinion and it's almost impossible to change someone elses.

I agree with you that we should all be working together, however i dont agree with the christian part. That makes it sound like you mean only christians should work with christians. It doesnt matter your beliefs, we're all human beings. Who cares if someone believes in another prophet, oOr believes something that is in direct opposition to your personal beliefs.

And I would like to point out that I'm personally open to anyones opinion, even if i dont agree with you. And if you bring up valid arguments that make sense, my opinons are absolutely changable.

Your comment about people being lost is a little disheartening to me. Do you mean people that don't beleive in god? or do you mean people that believe in another from of religon. From what I read (dunno if you meant it or not) it sounds like you mean we should work together to force christianity on people that dont believe. Thats wrong. Forcing anything on anyone is wrong. Im vegetarian, but I NEVER force my beliefs about eating meat on anyone, that would be hypocritical.

You're right it would be wrong to force my belief's on anyone and I don't, just like God doesn't force you to believe in him or serve him. The reason I said "Christians" is because Jesus Christ gave all Christians a mission and that was to share the gospel, which is that the only way to God is through him. You can argue about whatever you want and it's not just an opinion. Jesus taught that he was the truth the way and the light. Only through him can you receive everlasting life. I believe the Bible is correct and the true word of God. That is what we "Christians" should be sharing with the rest of the world.

It is your choice to believe it or not but it is my failure if I don't share the truth with others. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. That's a freedom God gave us all. Just because it is an opinion doesn't make it right.

Oh and yes the lost are those who don't believe in the Son of God. It's not a derogatory term just descriptive of the state of their soul should they die before being born again.

Read 1 John Chapter 5

I don't want to fight with you. I just want to share my testimony with others and learn more about the Bible. You don't have to believe me I never said you did.
